COCOA VILLAGE, FLORIDA
General and cosmetic dentist. Owner of erth. dental. Cocoa Village, Florida.
Dr. Mina Zakhary is a general dentist who practices with a focus on comfort, aesthetics and long-term oral health. He is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, and his work spans preventive and restorative care, cosmetic treatment including porcelain veneers and smile design, implant dentistry and clear aligner therapy.
He is known for a calm manner, a meticulous approach, and for explaining things properly. Patients tend to notice that he tells them what he is seeing before he tells them what he would do about it, and that he is comfortable saying a tooth can be watched rather than treated.
He is committed to continuing education and to staying current in digital dentistry, cosmetic technique and implant dentistry.
Outside the practice, he spends his time with family, on fitness and wellness, and on the business side of building something of his own. All of it feeds the same instinct, which is that the way something is done matters as much as whether it gets done.

He starts by listening, which sounds like the sort of thing every practice says until you have been somewhere that does not. Before any treatment is discussed you will be asked what brought you in, what has bothered you in the past and what you would actually like to change, because the answers change the plan.
He explains in plain language and shows you what he is looking at, using intraoral photography and digital x-rays so that you are looking at the same thing he is rather than taking his word for it. He gives you the options, including the option of doing nothing for now, along with what each one costs and what happens if you wait.
And he does not sell. If a tooth can be watched, he will tell you to watch it. If a cosmetic case is not going to give you what you are hoping for, he will say so before you spend the money rather than after.

Dr. Zakhary is a first-generation Egyptian American and a Coptic Christian. His father left an established career in Egypt to bring the family to the United States, and watching that decision play out over a childhood shaped how he thinks about work, responsibility and what it means to build something properly. He has a twin brother, and the two of them grew up with the same example in front of them.
It is the reason this practice is built the way it is. Attention to detail, quality that does not get compromised when it would be easier to compromise it, and a team that is looked after rather than run into the ground.
