Teeth whitening

We offer two ways to brighten your smile: in-office whitening with Philips Zoom, and custom take-home trays.

In-office whitening with Philips Zoom

Professional whitening done in the chair, during a single visit, with our dental team supervising. It suits people who would rather have the work done in one sitting than spread out over time.

Before we begin, we do a quick exam to make sure whitening is right for you. That gives us the chance to look at your teeth and gums and talk through what to expect.

Custom take‑home whitening trays

We make your trays from impressions or scans of your teeth, so they fit comfortably and keep the whitening gel where it belongs. You use them at home with professional whitening gel, on your own schedule.

Trays are also good for touch-ups later on, because you already have a set that fits.

Questions we get asked

Is teeth whitening safe?

Professional whitening is designed to be used with the guidance of a dental team. We start with a quick exam to make sure it is right for you, supervise in-office treatment, and show you how to use your trays at home.

Does whitening cause sensitivity?

It can for some people. If it happens, tell us and the team can help you manage it. It is worth mentioning at your exam if your teeth are already sensitive.

Will whitening change the color of crowns or veneers?

No. Whitening works on natural enamel, so it does not change crowns, veneers or fillings. If you have restorations at the front, tell us at your exam so we can plan around them.

How long do whitening results last?

It depends on your habits. Coffee, tea and smoking can bring staining back sooner, and take-home trays are handy for touch-ups.
